Five Below Hours In 2026: Complete Store Schedules, Holiday Timelines, And Shopping Guide

Understanding Five Below operating hours in 2026 is essential for budget-conscious shoppers looking to navigate the extreme value retailer's nationwide brick-and-mortar footprint. Five Below maintains a consistent operating rhythm across its thousands of storefronts, but seasonal fluctuations, holiday schedules, and regional variances can alter standard opening and closing times. This comprehensive guide details standard weekly hours, holiday exceptions, strategic shopping times, and tools to verify local store availability.

Standard Operating Hours Across North America

The standard operating model for Five Below locations across the United States generally follows a predictable schedule designed to capture peak foot traffic during daytime and early evening hours. While corporate policy sets baseline expectations, store managers retain slight flexibility based on local mall regulations, strip center rules, and regional foot traffic patterns.

Most locations operate under uniform daily parameters, though weekend hours frequently feature extended evening availability to accommodate families and weekend shoppers.

• Monday: 10:00 AM – 9:00 PM
• Tuesday: 10:00 AM – 9:00 PM
• Wednesday: 10:00 AM – 9:00 PM
• Thursday: 10:00 AM – 9:00 PM
• Friday: 10:00 AM – 9:00 PM or 10:00 AM – 10:00 PM
• Saturday: 10:00 AM – 9:00 PM or 10:00 AM – 10:00 PM
• Sunday: 11:00 AM – 6:00 PM or 11:00 AM – 7:00 PM

Shopping during off-peak hours—such as weekday mornings right at opening—offers a significantly quieter environment, fully stocked aisles, and quicker checkout times. Conversely, Friday and Saturday afternoons represent peak congestion periods, particularly during back-to-school season and the winter holidays.

Seasonal and Holiday Schedule Adjustments

Five Below maintains specific operational adjustments throughout the calendar year, observing major federal holidays while expanding hours during high-demand retail windows.

Major Holiday Hours Breakdown

During the peak holiday shopping season stretching from late November through December 23rd, many high-volume locations transition to extended hours, often opening as early as 9:00 AM and closing at 10:00 PM or 11:00 PM to manage holiday traffic surges.

How to Verify Local Store Hours and Real-Time Availability

Because strip mall layouts, standalone plazas, and lifestyle centers dictate individual property rules, discrepancies can occasionally occur between corporate guidelines and specific branch schedules. Utilizing digital verification tools ensures you avoid arriving to locked doors.

Pro-Tip for Accurate Store Verification: Always cross-reference the official Five Below store locator with real-time Google Maps listings. If severe weather events or local utility maintenance occurs, the corporate locator updates much faster than third-party directories.

1. Official Store Locator: Navigate to the main Five Below website and use the store locator tool by entering your zip code, city, or postal code. The tool displays the exact address, direct phone number, upcoming holiday closures, and specific daily hours for that location.
2. Direct Phone Inquiry: Call the specific store directly using the phone number listed on the corporate directory. Speaking with a team member provides immediate clarity regarding stock levels for high-demand items alongside current hours.
3. Local Shopping Center Directories: If the Five Below is embedded within a major regional mall or outdoor lifestyle center, check the property management's master directory website, as overarching mall hours can occasionally override individual tenant schedules during special promotional weekends.

Comparative Analysis: Standard vs. Extended Holiday Hours

Understanding the structural differences between standard operating weeks and peak retail surges helps in planning efficient shopping trips.

• Standard Operating Model: Focuses on labor efficiency and predictable consumer foot traffic, keeping stores open for 11 hours daily Monday through Saturday and 7 to 8 hours on Sunday.
• Extended Holiday Model: Implemented during Black Friday week and the final two weeks of December, extending operating windows by 2 to 4 hours daily to distribute high consumer volume and prevent overcrowding.
• Inventory Restocking Alignment: Overnight freight teams typically stock shelves outside of operational hours, meaning the absolute best time to find newly arrived merchandise across tech, room decor, and beauty categories is right when doors open at 10:00 AM.
